Product Description
The Bose SUB1 is a powered portable bass module designed to complement portable PA systems. If you are looking to add deep, powerful bass to your existing portable sound system, this is your ideal bass module.
Exclusive RaceTrack Driver
Innovative Technology
The SUB1 features Bose’s exclusive 13" x 7" RaceTrack driver, providing performance equivalent to a conventional 12-inch woofer in a more compact and portable size. The RaceTrack driver is a Bose innovation that optimizes bass performance in a unique form factor.
Deep Bass Range
The frequency response (-3 dB) is 40 Hz to 180 Hz, with a frequency range (-10 dB) of 32 Hz to 250 Hz. This provides deep, musical bass that perfectly complements any portable PA system.
Power and Performance
480W of Powered Performance
The SUB1 provides 480W of integrated amplified power, allowing it to function as a completely self-contained bass module. It requires no external amplifier: simply connect to your portable PA and get powerful bass.
Powerful Sound Pressure
The maximum SPL is 118.6 dB (continuous) and 124.6 dB (peak), providing enough volume for small to medium-sized events. The bass is powerful yet controlled, without overpowering the overall sound.
Optimized Portable Design
Optimized Center of Gravity
The SUB1 is designed with an optimized center of gravity that facilitates transport and setup. The compact design allows you to take the bass module anywhere without taking up much space.
Easy to Pack and Transport
The system is designed to be easily packed, carried, and set up. You can transport the SUB1 in most vehicles and bring it to events without complications.
Professional Connectivity
XLR Inputs
The SUB1 features professional XLR inputs that connect easily to any portable PA system from Bose or other manufacturers. The connection is simple: just connect the XLR cable from your PA to the SUB1.
Cardioid Mode
The SUB1 offers cardioid mode for greater directional bass control, allowing you to optimize coverage based on the space.
Versatile Compatibility
Compatible with Multiple Systems
The SUB1 is compatible with all Bose portable PA systems (L1 Pro8, L1 Pro16, S1 Pro+) and can also work with portable PA systems from other manufacturers. It is a versatile solution for adding bass to virtually any system.
