Its 2-way architecture uses a 25 mm metal dome tweeter for high frequencies and a 100 mm bass/midrange driver with a woven fiberglass cone. This combination offers clarity in dialogue, vocals, and high-frequency effects, while the 4-inch woofer provides body to the midrange and upper bass. The frequency response of 64 Hz to 23 kHz within ±3 dB, along with its nominal 8-ohm impedance, facilitates its integration with compatible amplifiers and receivers.
The M-1 can be used as a stereo pair, as front, surround, or rear channels in a home theater system, and also as part of a setup with a subwoofer. It includes a wall mount and a table stand; its rotating multi-position foot helps orient the speaker according to the installation location. For placement at ear level, the FS-M-1 floor stand is available separately. As it is a passive speaker, it requires external amplification.
