General Description
The Denon PMA-900HNE brings together high-current stereo amplification, HEOS Built-in streaming, and comprehensive connectivity for analog and digital sources into a single Hi-Fi component. Its Advanced High Current Single Push-Pull circuit with Darlington transistors delivers 50 W per channel at 8 ohms or 85 W per channel at 4 ohms, with a frequency response of 5 Hz to 100 kHz. This architecture is designed to capably drive a wide variety of passive bookshelf or floor-standing speakers in two-channel systems.
Beyond its amplification, the PMA-900HNE acts as a connected music hub. HEOS Built-in allows access to streaming services, internet radio, and multi-room playback via Wi-Fi or Ethernet; it also includes AirPlay 2, Bluetooth, and Bluetooth Re-Broadcast for sending audio to compatible Bluetooth headphones or speakers. The unit plays high-resolution files over the network, including DSD up to 5.6 MHz and PCM up to 192 kHz/24-bit in supported formats, and can manage libraries from a USB drive connected to the front panel.
