Product Description
The Furman SS-6B is a professional power conditioner designed for musicians, sound engineers, and audio professionals. If you are looking for quality protection for your audio equipment, with noise filtering and a robust construction, this is your ideal power block.
Professional Surge Protection
540 Joules of Protection
The SS-6B provides 540 joules of protection against voltage spikes, guarding your valuable audio equipment against damage caused by lightning, power outages, and voltage fluctuations. This protection is essential for any professional studio or audio setup.
Circuit Breaker
It includes a built-in circuit breaker that trips automatically if the current exceeds 15 amps, protecting both your equipment and your electrical installation.
Advanced EMI/RFI Filtering
Electrical Noise Elimination
The built-in EMI/RFI (electromagnetic/radio frequency interference) filtering eliminates electrical noise that can degrade audio quality. This is especially important in recording studios and sensitive audio setups.
Clean Audio
By reducing electrical background noise, the SS-6B helps achieve cleaner and more professional audio recordings and performances.
Robust Metal Construction
Professional Durability
The SS-6B is built with heavy-duty steel, providing exceptional durability for repeated professional use. The rugged construction resists bumps, drops, and the general wear and tear of transportation.
Compact Design
Despite its robust construction, the design is compact and easy to transport. It fits easily into gear backpacks or travel bags.
Widely Spaced Outlets
6 Filtered Outlets
The 6 outlets are widely spaced, allowing you to connect multiple devices without large power adapters blocking each other. All 6 outlets are filtered and protected.
Connection Flexibility
The generous spacing allows for the use of bulky power adapters without issues, something not possible with many standard power strips.
Long Power Cord
15-Foot Cord
The SS-6B includes a 15-foot power cord, providing flexibility to place the power block wherever needed without the need for additional extension cords.
Professional Reach
The long cord allows for flexible setups in studios, on stages, and at live events.
Illuminated ON/OFF Switch
Convenient Control
The illuminated ON/OFF switch allows you to turn the entire power block on and off with a single touch. The LED indicator shows the power status at a glance.
Power Management
It facilitates power management in setups with multiple devices, allowing you to turn off all equipment at once.
