The MARANTZ GRAND HORIZON U1B is Marantz’s flagship wireless speaker in a Midnight Sky finish. Created to deliver a high-fidelity experience of exceptional scale from a single unit, it combines an eight-transducer acoustic array, state-of-the-art amplification, music and TV connectivity, as well as the elegant design that distinguishes the brand. Its Marantz Rise GaN FET platform delivers 370 W of total power under FTC measurement. The transducer array integrates an 8-inch Marantz Gravity bass driver, four 3-inch full-range units, and three 1-inch tweeters. With a response of 28 Hz to 20 kHz within ±3 dB, extension down to 18 Hz at -10 dB, and up to 111 dB of maximum SPL at one meter, the Grand Horizon can reproduce deep bass, wide dynamics, and high sound pressure. The neodymium magnets in the Gravity drivers and the Marantz Mirage DSP algorithm work together to produce an expansive soundstage with detail and control.
The GRAND HORIZON U1B integrates HEOS for streaming and multiroom audio, Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Ethernet, Bluetooth 5.4, AirPlay 2, and Spotify Connect. It includes HDMI eARC/ARC, TOSLINK optical, stereo RCA, and USB-C inputs; via HDMI, it is compatible with Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital+, and Dolby Digital signals. The touch ring allows for volume adjustment and playback control, while the multicolor halo shows the speaker's status.
