General Description
The MARANTZ HORIZON U1B is a premium all-in-one wireless speaker that combines advanced acoustic engineering, high-resolution streaming, and a sculptural design to form a music and TV system in a single piece. The U1B version corresponds to the Midnight Sky finish, which has a black appearance. Its transducer array includes a 6.5-inch Marantz Gravity woofer, three 2-inch full-range units, and two 1-inch tweeters to deliver a spacious, detailed, and large-scale presentation from a compact cabinet.
The Marantz Rise amplification with GaN FET technology delivers 310 W of total power under FTC measurement. The frequency response covers 30 Hz to 20 kHz within ±3 dB, with extension down to 22 Hz at -10 dB, while its maximum sound pressure of 104 dB at one meter allows it to fill large listening spaces with authority. Marantz Mirage DSP processing, Marantz Gravity drivers with neodymium magnets, and the acoustically transparent Marantz Radiance 360° Seamless Fabric work together to combine precision, presence, and a luxury aesthetic.
The HORIZON integrates HEOS for streaming and multiroom audio, dual-band Wi-Fi compatible with Wi-Fi 6, Ethernet, Bluetooth 5.4, AirPlay 2, and Spotify Connect. It can connect to a TV via HDMI eARC/ARC and decode Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital+, and Dolby Digital; it also incorporates optical, stereo RCA, and USB-C inputs for storage. Its front touch ring allows for adjusting volume and controlling playback, while AuraControl and the multicolor light halo provide intuitive interaction. It is a high-fidelity solution for enjoying music, cinema, and television without requiring separate components.
