General Description
The Black Sonos Era 300 is a premium smart speaker designed for spatial music and Dolby Atmos playback. Its acoustic design incorporates six drivers positioned at the front, sides, and top of the cabinet to project sound left to right, forward, and upward. The result is a wide, immersive soundstage that goes from wall to wall and floor to ceiling, especially when playing Dolby Atmos music from compatible services and content via Wi-Fi.
The Era 300 features six Class-D digital amplifiers, four tweeters, and two angled woofers. The front-firing tweeter creates a crisp center image, two side tweeters build stereo separation, and the top-firing tweeter, housed in a directional waveguide, reflects sound off the ceiling when playing Dolby Atmos. The two side-firing woofers reinforce bass response and stereo playback. Through the Sonos app, you can adjust bass, treble, and loudness, as well as perform Trueplay calibration to adapt the response to your space.
In addition to dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.3, it integrates a USB-C port to connect line-in sources or Ethernet using optional Sonos adapters.
