General Description
The MARANTZ HORIZON U1LG is the Moon Ray version of the reference Marantz Horizon wireless speaker. It is designed to concentrate a high-fidelity system, multi-room streaming, and TV audio into a single design piece. Its elegant silhouette is covered with Marantz Radiance 360° Seamless Fabric, a continuous textile with a luxurious appearance and acoustic transparency, while the front halo and touch ring create a clean and intuitive user experience.
Its acoustic array combines a 6.5-inch Marantz Gravity bass driver, three 2-inch full-range transducers, and two 1-inch tweeters. The neodymium magnets in the Gravity drivers and the Marantz Mirage DSP processor help reproduce clear, powerful, and low-distortion sound. The Marantz Rise GaN FET platform provides 310 W of total power measured according to the FTC standard, with a frequency response of 30 Hz to 20 kHz within ±3 dB and extension down to 22 Hz at -10 dB. The result is a speaker capable of delivering deep bass, great dynamics, and a wide soundstage in demanding listening rooms.
The HORIZON U1LG incorporates HEOS for streaming and multi-room audio, dual-band Wi-Fi compatible with Wi-Fi 6, Ethernet, Bluetooth 5.4, AirPlay 2, and Spotify Connect. In addition to receiving music from the network, mobile devices, NAS, or USB-C, it can be integrated with a TV via HDMI eARC/ARC and decode Dolby Atmos, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital+, and Dolby Digital. Stereo RCA and TOSLINK optical inputs complete a connectivity suite designed for contemporary music, cinema, and premium entertainment systems.
