General Description
The MARANTZ MODEL M1 is a compact, high-performance 2.1-channel wireless streaming amplifier designed to integrate high-resolution music and TV audio into a single component. Its Class D amplification stage delivers 100 W per channel at 8 Ω, with low distortion, to power stereo speakers from 4 to 16 Ω. Furthermore, the mono RCA subwoofer output allows for a 2.1 system with extended low-frequency response, ideal for living rooms, studies, bedrooms, entertainment areas, or distributed audio installations.
The built-in HEOS platform offers access to network playback, multiroom audio, and compatible music services; it also incorporates AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Bluetooth, and playback from USB or network libraries. For TV, its HDMI eARC input and Dolby Digital+ decoding allow you to enjoy shows, movies, and video games with the simplicity of a soundbar, but through the stereo speakers of your choice.
