General Description

The RADIAL PRODI is a professional-grade passive direct box designed for use on stage or in home recording studios, with the ability to handle high-output instruments without distortion. At the heart of the PRODI is a custom Radial transformer. It features an exceptionally high input impedance of 140kΩ to reduce loading while allowing the PRODI to handle extreme signal levels across all frequencies without distortion. This is further enhanced by an internal MuMETAL® shield to protect against electromagnetic fields that can cause distortion in unshielded transformers. The PRODI handles massive transients without distortion, and the transformer isolation eliminates noisy ground loop hum. It works perfectly with high-output bass guitars, acoustic guitars with active preamps, digital keyboards and synthesizers, computer interfaces, and any high-output device.
