Natural, Room-Filling Sound
Collaborative Design with Sonance
Designed and tuned in collaboration with Sonance, a leader in architectural speakers, these speakers deliver natural, high-quality sound that fills your room with exceptional clarity and depth.
Two Size Options
Choose between 6" or 8" speakers based on your room size and acoustic needs. The 8" speakers offer greater power and coverage, while the 6" ones are ideal for smaller spaces.
Durable Polypropylene Woofers
The 6.5" (6") or 8" (8") polypropylene woofers provide faithful reproduction of mid and low frequencies, with exceptional durability for long-term use.
Precise Tweeters
The 1" (25mm) for 6" or 1.2" (30mm) for 8" tweeters create crisp, precise high-frequency response for crystal-clear vocals and instrument details.
Optimized for Sonos Amp
Optimized Tuning
When connected to Sonos Amp, these architectural speakers are automatically optimized to ensure a more robust and uniform frequency response, maximizing their performance.
Power Multiple Speakers with a Single Amp
Sonos Amp can reliably power up to three pairs of Sonos architectural speakers (six in total) when wired in parallel, maximizing output and filling more of your space with high-quality sound.
Automatic Trueplay Tuning
Powering these speakers with Sonos Amp unlocks Trueplay in the Sonos app. This technology measures how sound reflects off walls, furniture, and other surfaces, then tunes your speakers for the best possible listening experience.
Exceptional Acoustic Performance
Wide Frequency Response
With a frequency response of 36Hz-20kHz ±3dB (6") or 29Hz-20kHz ±3dB (8") with DSP, these speakers reproduce the entire audio spectrum from deep bass to crystal-clear highs.
Maximum Sound Pressure
The 6" speakers reach a maximum of 110dB @ 1m, while the 8" models reach 113dB @ 1m, providing enough power to fill large rooms.
Wide Coverage
With a nominal coverage of 90° axisymmetric (6") or 100° axisymmetric (8"), these speakers distribute sound evenly throughout the room.
Discreet and Professional Installation
Customizable Grilles
The meticulously designed bezel-less grilles can be painted to match your ceiling exactly, providing a virtually invisible installation.
Compact Mounting Depth
With mounting depths of 4.73" (6") or 5.32" (8"), these speakers fit most standard ceiling systems.
Professional Installer Support
Sonos provides access to a network of professional installers who can help you design, install, and set up your complete Sonos system.
Performance Optimization
Custom DSP
When you select "Optimize Sonos Speakers" in the Sonos app, Amp recognizes the Sonos architectural speakers and applies custom tuning and DSP to provide more robust sound with a more uniform frequency response.
Limiter Control
The limiter control allows for smooth and consistent volume dynamics across the entire frequency range, protecting the speakers and ensuring clear reproduction.
Versatile Applications
Multiroom Music
Create a multi-room audio system that fills your home with high-fidelity music, allowing for different songs in different rooms.
Home Theater
Pair with Sonos Amp and other components to create an immersive home theater system with surround sound.
