General Description
The SoundTube XT850-GN is a professional two-way outdoor speaker designed to integrate discreetly into gardens, green spaces, terraces, and landscaped pathways. Its semi-inground installation leaves the top part of the enclosure visible while the base is secured underground, resulting in a reduced visual profile and uniform sound diffusion. The Granite Green finish allows the speaker to better blend in with vegetation, lawns, and landscaping elements.
Its coaxial architecture combines a weather-resistant 8-inch polypropylene woofer with a butyl rubber surround and a 1-inch aluminum dome tweeter. BroadBeam technology provides 360° horizontal by 40° vertical coverage, suitable for distributing background music, foreground music, and voice paging across large areas with fewer installation points. The sealed ZeroReflection enclosure helps provide defined bass and consistent off-axis response.
The XT850-GN operates directly at 4 ohms or in 25 V, 70.7 V, and 100 V distributed line systems via its integrated 64 W transformer. The five-position waterproof selector makes it easy to choose the appropriate tap or activate the transformer bypass. Its IP55 construction, theft-resistant hardware, stainless steel grille, and cable sealing accessories make it a professional solution for permanent outdoor installations.
